I think many people are realizing that the work they do for the money the make is by far less. This comes with the deffiniton of profit and many people can now realize that big companies are getting profit off of an individuals work they put forth. $15 an hr while working fast-food is a big leap considering when we look at the states minimum wage and also federal they both are very different, depending on the state which whom the person might work in determines how difficult a 15$ wage being met will be. This also clashes with how much technology is on the rise and not only will companies see profit being lost but they will also see that they might be better off investing in machinery to take the place of workers. Therefore we would have no type of individuality among fats food chains but rather a more robotic society. I feel that big companies will not exactly be scared of these workers unionizing considering these companies know how much power and money they have over their workers. They know that their employees people depend on the money that these jobs give them is what pays their bills and too many people fear of being homeless and without a job they wouldn’t risk it. We look back years ago when agriculture was before industrialization and people then would’ve fought for things but now we are in such a robotic and systematic way of society that there is not much of individuality at all therefore workers can ask for more money but in reality they don’t have no control and the companies of these fast food chains know that.
