The experiment that was conducted that was based off the study that Miligram showed us a certain reality that is in our society. This study was able to give us many insight with so many things that happen and how they have a mix with The social construction of reality and that we believe things are real because we all agree they are real. So when we look back at Hitler we remember how so many people were able to get constructed and actually listened to these things basically be so naive. We now look back and think how could such people allow this and actually thing that this was right and this led to the study because the thought Americans obviously know this is ludicrous maybe its deeper and that its part of the German culture to follow this . This study wanted to see if that if he could show that germans are more obedient than Americans so he was going to incorporate different conditions to see if that is true. This is when the Teacher Learner process was conducted and they were to see the effects of punishment on learning and this is when they had one teacher and one learner . The learner knew that they were part of an experiment after but the teacher didn’t so they were said to get a reward from participating in the study whether it was extra credit or just $5. The teacher would have to shock the learner if they got an answer wrong and the teacher tested the shock as well so they knew how it felt. Although after this they had to then shock the learner so they conducted the experiment and when they shocked the learner they could hear them scream and the volts . This is when the teacher started to having to give volts that were deadly and the teacher still did it with knowing someone was getting hurt on the other end up but that didn’t stop them this is where they realized that many people would go all the way even just for a little money or extra credit. Obedience ran in all of this and with an authoritative figure it also gave more results of people actually listening and the people can’t liberate themselves and instead locked into a structure and we don’t have skills to disengage ourselves. The experiment gave insight and corresponded with a lot of just real life examples with obedience to authoritative figures.
